NEWTON TOWNSHIP MINUTES 11-08-2017

Newton Township Trustees met in regular session on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017.  Those in attendance were Larry Taylor, Road Maintenance Supervisor for the Township; Assistant Chief & EMS Coordinator Craig Knox of the Fire Department; James R. Smith and Robert Stephenson, Charles R. Elson, Township Trustees and Derek Dozer, Fiscal Officer.

Meeting was called to order by Trustee Smith at 6:02pm.

Pledge to the flag was led by James R. Smith.

Agenda approved.

Minutes were approved as presented.

Public Participation: 

None.

Fire Department Business: 

New Medic – update.  Close to being ready.

Used grant money to purchase monitor mounts and cot mounts for medic.

Motion to move to Executive Session at 6:07p.

Exited Executive Session at 6:16pm.

Old Business -     None.

New Business -   None.

Trustees Reports: 

Nothing more.

Fiscal Officer Reports

Payment registers, appropriations, fund status reports, grass roots clippings received.

All bills presented were deemed to be valid expenditures and were to be paid as presented.

Next regular meeting will be held on Wednesday, Dec 13, 2017 at 6:00pm at the Fire Department.
