 Trustee Reports:

Smith reporting;

             A culvert which is located in Maysville Heights at Nolan Drive is plugged up and the guard rail is slipping away.  A plastic extension is recommended plus some additional fill.  An estimate has been sought from Taylor and Sons Inc. at the amount of $2400.00 to complete this work.  This was approved by all three trustees.

            The area of Georgia Pines subdivision is in need of guard rails on both sides of the road going up the hill.  Smith estimates approximately 700’ would be needed and asked if it might be possible to get some assistance from the county engineers office to do this.  Both Elson and Dozer felt this was not going to happen although they did agree the rails are needed.

            County Commissioner Brian Hill has been contacted re; the new road addition upcoming in the Maysville Heights subdivision.  He in turned referred Smith to the County Engineer (Davis).  A message was left for Davis.

            The dump bed on the ’95 Ford dump truck is falling apart.  Possibly could seek a new bed for same by fall of 2007.  Smith will check for bids on same.

            According to Smith there is no longer cold mix available from anyone.  He has been advised to use 411’s and cover with tar for this type or road repairs.

            A Pete Hope Lane resident has called and states her road is in good shape.

 Elson had nothing to report.

             He did emphasize the road employees seem to be doing a good job for the experience they either one have had.
